Society Aim & Scope

Dheerpura Society for Advancement of Science and Rural Development (Reg. No. 01/01/01/16715/06) is registered in year 2008 under Society Registration Act. Society has take up a great task to promote research and scientific skills among the students, scientists, research scholars and research workers.

Society performs various activities as below :

1- Publishes International Research Journals “Trends in Biosciences” and “Advances in Life Sciences”.

2- Organizes Symposiums, Seminars , Conferences and Workshops.

3- Organizes awareness programs for farmers to educate them to increase their agriculture productivity, use of biopesticide and organic farming.

4- Provides training and research based project work to life sciences students.



Founder Editor-in-Chief- Late Dr.S.S.Ali

Trends in Biosciences Journal was incepted in year 2008 by Late Dr. S. S. Ali and journal is published under registered Society - Dheerpura Society for Advancement of Science and Rural Development (DSAS&RD). Late Dr. S.S. Ali has done D.Sc from University of Ghent, Belgium, Post doctoral fellow from Australian National University Canberra, Australia and PGT from Itlay in Nematology .He has joined ARS Services of Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) in 1979 and joined Central Plantation Crops Research Institute (ICAR) Kerala as Nematologist. He has worked on Nematodes problems of Cardamom at Kerala and Karnataka after wards he joined Indian Institute of Pulses Research, Kanpur and worked on nematodes problems of pulses. He was principle investigator of three projects namely, All India Coordinated Research Project  AICRP on chickpea, ,AICRP Pigeonpea and AICRP MULLaRP crops. He has published two books, many Technical Bulletins including one on EPN and 150 research papers to his credit. He worked on Entomopathogenic Nematodes (EPN) and described four new species of EPN. He made new formulations of EPN against Helicoverpa armigera and other insect pests of pulses and stored grain pests. He was Principle Investigator of NATP and DBT projects. He retired as Principle Scientist in 2008. He worked Emeritus Scientist under Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) as well as under Department of Science and Technology (DST) ,New Delhi. Late Dr. S.S. Ali has wide experience on applied agriculture research and coordination.
